National Harbor : There is plenty of shopping and things to do in Old Town but we also enjoy the National Harbor. It is right across the river from Old Town and there is a water taxi than can bring you over.

Washington DC : Of course, there is an unlimited amount of things to see and do in DC. If you're staying in Old Town, catch the Metro at the King Street station and you can go anywhere you want in DC without having to worry about a car or taxis.
